Unfortunately, the boat ramp was blown away and is currently INOP

Beautiful beach! If you walk to the right be cautious as the beach is eroding away, but walk far enough and its soo worth the walk as you can see The Jennie & Annie poking thru the water.

Several fire pits

We love bringing our family here. It's well suited for little kids, big kids, and adults. There's truly something for everyone. Places to launch into Lake Michigan and no-wake South Bar (which is calm and warmer). There's tons of parking (and overflow because its popular), playground, a huge beach, places to picnic, swimming dock, and volleyball right across from the covered picnic area (reservable)

One of our favorite stops when we need to get out of town for a bit. Huge playground for the kids, long beach, volleyball nets, four private restrooms, and a really nice pavilion for events with a grill. They recently went to ticketed parking, which I'm not a fan of, but you gotta roll with the times, I suppose. Family-friendly (all the grown-ups go to North Bar). :)

A-M-A-Z-I-N-G sunsets. Top notch 10/10.

Emire's Village Park is where we always start the day touring the Sleeping Bear National Park. Beach is sandy and clean! People there are friendly. Busy on holiday weekends but not at all any other time.

Access to South Bar Lake for the kids (much warmer water)

Access to Lake Michigan

Parking is adequate if you drive a bicycle. Get in early and stay late!

Public restrooms, playground, Basketball court
